I am studying International Business Engineering at the University of Borås. This international program is education where teaching is in English. One learns to become a commercial engineer helps the company, trying to improve everything in quality, logistics and reduce costs. It is very mixed with both mathematical and economic topics. I have been always been interested in economics and technology, because it felt good to combine these while getting into courses in logistics.
Before I began studying industrial economy, I have read the CNC courses, got the traineeship as CNC operator and then continued on working as CNC operator, in this way improved my skills in industry and technology. With this I have become very good at both take initiative and work in groups. During my studies at the University of Borås has allowed me to develop myself further within the industry and has worked as a warehouseman. Statement of Purpose
My interest in pursuing a higher education program in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Lund University stems from my experience as an entrepreneur. My studies at Eda Teknik Center on CNC education and Training equipped me with the prerequisite entrepreneurial knowledge. In the course of this study, I was subjected to an industrial internship at Goodtech Solutions Manufacturing, Arvika, Sweden, where I acquired the necessary skills on traineeship of industrial enterprises. After my training at the Eda Teknik Center, I started working on Funda Components AB Charlottenberg, Sweden and later at Ericsson AB, Boras, Sweden. This two working stations equipped me with first hand industry experience. At Fundo Components AB, Charlottenberg, Sweden, I acquired skills that relate to logistics by working as a CNC operator.
During the 2013 and 2014 summer, I worked at Ericsson AB, Boras. In this situation, I was equipped with the skills on packing, picking, receiving and sorting incoming truck driving, supplies as well as working with SAP system. Ericsson AB, Boras is a midsized company and I was quickly introduced in the intricacies of working with big suppliers and managing challenging technology-based projects. Acquiring first-hand experience is one five models of Porter?s forces ? consumer bargaining power, I was compelled to explore ways of minimising our operational expenses. In the course of my studies we worked on AUTOMOD simulation projects and consider applying simulation modelling in order to validate our designs before using the system. The design was so successful that a number of our clients also requested demonstrations of our solutions in order for them to fit more efficiency within their companies. During the AUTOMOD simulation exercise we worked in groups and this equipped me with the necessary skills relevant to working with people and programs. I acquired skills relating to production and logistics flows as well as operations. This enabled me to gain skills on patience. In business understanding the functionality of and success of a particular element requires patience as a result my experience during the AUTOMOD assimilation exercise will go a long way towards ensuring that build a successful career within the corporate world. In addition, during the course of the simulation learning I realized that I required to learn about how a business functions, which has led me to the Master?s program in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Throughout this journey, I have had great mentors who have significantly shaped my beliefs about the role of academics in the present business world. My professors at the University of Boras provided me with the necessary mentorship and acted as an anchor towards my interest in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Through their elaborate mentorship I was able to gain valuable guidance and support during my 3 years study as an Industrial Engineering ? International Business Management student. In addition, personal skills, knowledge and aspiration also provide a significant boost to my quest to purse Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation at an advanced stage. I intend to pursue a Masters course in Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation because I believe that the discipline will bend well with the experience, knowledge and skills that I did acquire in my previous endeavours. Specifically, I am interested on how logistics and production function during the production exercise. Production and logistics are crucial components that determine the success of a particular business venture. Upon my completion of the course, I hope to gain additional experience, knowledge and skills that will enable me to advance my career in the world of business.

My desire to enrol in the Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation program aim at developing on this concern and I hope to come up with concrete prescriptive suggestions from my studies to inform future entrepreneurs who grapple with similar challenges.
Undisputable, in the present business world, technology and business go hand in hand. Successful corporations heavily rely on technology in order to gain competitive advantage by adopting measures that will increase sales and ultimately, profitability. It is against this backdrop that I believe that my background in engineering will provide the business world with the much-needed technological knowledge necessary for growth.
